Work in Progress (2016)
The Textile Art Center's Work in Progress (WiP) Program is a window into the studio practice of contemporary artists and designers that engages the public in a dialogue with the field of textiles.
During the month of April 2017, I worked in the front part of the studio at Textile Arts Center in Manhattan where I was able to talk to the public about my work, process and inspiration. As part of my residency I explored the surrounding area, collected artifacts and took rubbings of found forms.
